  • In studio and in-home lessons in music performance on several instruments, including, but not limited to voice, piano, guitar, drums, and ukulele. In addition to instrumental and vocal performance, private lessons and workshops offered in composition/theory and songwriting for a variety of genres.

  • Set up and production for various events such as concerts, festivals, café performances and public events.

Buford High School Contract Music Director                               

Buford, GA, August 2013 - November 2018

  • Music direction for nearly a dozen Main Stage musicals at Buford High school over the years — making original composition contributions to the production process. Transcribing and altering harmonies, general rewrites of scores and heavy arranging work to suit needs of a cast.

  • Accompanying and helming rehearsals ranging in size from small groups to upwards of sixty people. Directing other musicians and cast members, delegating work throughout the production process.

Skills

Music/Composition: Professional experience in composition and libretto writing on projects in musical theatre for over six years. Expert in composition and arranging for a wide scope of sounds/genres, and proficient on a litany of instrument such as piano, guitar, drums, bass, voice, mandolin, harmonica and ukulele. Baseline knowledge of music technology and the recording process. Capable of transcribing by ear and transposing on the spot with incredibly strong relative, nearly perfect pitch. Consistently able to meet hard deadlines and juggle several different projects at once. Career highlight of sending an original musical to New York City with a production in an off-Broadway theatre (Jimmy!: A Musical Fable with Almost No Historical Basis, The Irondale Center, Brooklyn, NY, 2014). In addition to original creative work, professional experience in music direction for a theatrical setting, freelance music directing over twenty shows/projects of various sizes and genres.
